I Finished Another Book

TL;DR: The new book is done. I’m keeping the title and release date under wraps for now. I plan to sit on it until the convention at the Keosippi Center in Keokuk, Iowa, then publish close to that time—with launch copies on hand.
I hit a milestone this week: I finished another book.
I’m going to be a little mysterious about this one. No title reveal yet, no release date, no cover art spoilers. (I know—tease.) What I can say is that it’s written, revised, and has that wonderful “the ending clicked into place” feeling that makes all the late nights worth it.
Why the pause? Two reasons:
- Timing. I’m aiming to line things up with the upcoming March 2026 convention at the Keosippi Center here in Keokuk. That event brings together a lot of people who enjoy local artists, writers and neighbors who make this work meaningful.
- Launch copies. I want to have fresh copies in hand at the convention so early supporters can grab one right off the table—ink still metaphorically warm.
Between now and then, I’ll share a few behind-the-scenes peeks: scraps from the notebook, a line or two that survived every edit, maybe a glimpse at the worldbuilding. If you’ve read An Enchanted Heart, expect familiar attention to place and character—with a few new tricks I’m excited to show you when the time’s right.
If you want to be first in line for the title/reveal, make sure you’re following me and keep an eye on this blog. When the moment comes, I’ll announce pre-orders, signing details, and exactly how to snag a launch copy at the Keosippi Center.
Thanks—as always—for reading, cheering, and lending me your curiosity. Onward.
